TIMOTHY M. LEE, B.Sc.(P.T.), D.D.S.

Dr. Timothy Lee graduated from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry in 1995. He licensed with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.

Dr. Lee currently practices modern dentistry with a personal touch. It is his belief that good dentistry is best performed when considering the wishes of patients. A lot of time is spent discussing treatment options and approaches before work is initiated. The added benefit is that patient ‘comfort concerns’ are revealed beforehand. These factors all come together to make for a comfortable patient experience.

As well as being an experienced dentist, Dr. Lee has a degree in physiotherapy. With this unique qualification, Dr. Lee has developed a special interest in jaw (“TMJ”) disorders. He is also qualified to administer Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) to provide a more comfortable experience for children and anxious individuals.

To keep current in the changing world of general and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Lee has attended hundreds of hours of Continuing Education courses and hands-on programs. He continually fine-tunes his knowledge by being active in various professional associations:

• Ontario Dental Association
• Academy of General Dentistry
• Halton-Peel Dental Association

Dr. Lee believes supporting the community. Streetsville Dental will provide a Children’s Dental Orientation Program at the office for area preschools. This helps small children overcome any worries about first-time dental visits. Dr. Lee also provides emergency dental care regularly with the Mississauga Dental Emergency Service.

In his leisure time, Dr. Lee enjoys running and photography. Some of his photographic prints can be found on the walls of this dental office. Dr. Lee is also actively involved in providing outreach dentistry with the charity Health Outreach, which he founded. He leads dental teams to Guatemala and other developing countries donating product, medicine and dental services to the less fortunate.
